On our dynamic graph, it is possible to change the variables, choosing between the total area of deforestation increment and the proportion of deforestation increment in the area of the municipality. In addition, it is possible to change the states and the year in which you want to do the analysis.
INFORMATION ABOUT THE DATABASE USED IN THIS VISUALIZATION
Data collected from the National Institute of Space Research (INPE). The PRODES project uses satellites to monitor deforestation in the Brazilian Amazônia Legal. The raw data reports the deforested area with total clearcutting and incremental year by year at the municipal level.
